Some of you may of seen our shiny racecar at the apprentice open day events or even just cruising round Doncaster, well now its going to the racetrack.
On September 4th we'll be taking our little C1 to Blyton Park Race Circuit to enter into the Javelin Sprint Series, with our light vehicle apprentice Tutor Nathan Brown piloting it. The series is created with multiple classes to accommodate various vehicles from road going cars to highly modified track cars
The C1 was built to meet certain safety requirements on the inside including a full rollcage, buckets seat and harnesses. All the mechanical work was undertaken by our Light Vehicle apprentices which included modified front suspension as well as ensuring the C1 was track ready.
The outside was all the imagination of our apprentices on their Level 2 Paint Technician apprenticeship who really went to town with the paint job. They decided to go with a chameleon paint to really show the car off, paired up with an orange roll cage and the matching wheels, you really can't miss this car on track!
So if you want to come see all the apprentices hard work in action and support GTA come down to Blyton Park on September 4th, its totally free to spectate on the day!
